Carry What Was Earned
A badge. A place. A moment.
These are not products.
They are objects created to hold something that matters.

What This Is
Canyon Crest Woodworks creates commissioned objects designed to carry identity, mark milestones, and anchor spaces.
Each piece begins with a story — a chapter, a team, a moment worth fixing in form — and is translated into a permanent object built to be handled, not preserved.
These are not products.
They are objects created for a specific purpose, and held where they belong.
What These Objects Do
Commissioned pieces have been used to:
mark service and career milestones
anchor private lounges and personal spaces
serve as chapter and organization centerpieces
generate community engagement and fundraising
A single piece can move through a group, create interaction, and continue beyond its original purpose.
These objects do not sit still.
They operate.
Legacy Archive
A curated record of commissioned pieces now held in private collections, chapter spaces, and legacy rooms across the United States.
Each one reflects a place, a group, and the identity behind it.
Start With a Conversation
Most work begins with a simple exchange.
An idea.
A reference.
A direction.
From there, the structure is built.

Selected Works
A limited number of pieces are available outside of full commissions. These follow the same design language, material standard, and construction approach.
They are built to be used, handled, and lived with — not stored or displayed as decoration.
The Octave
A refined functional form built from solid walnut, designed as a daily-use object with architectural presence.
Minimal, balanced, and grounded — intended to sit within a space without excess.
Sentinel Harbor
An extension of the Sentinel form, built around structure, identity, and controlled engraving.
Each variation reflects a specific place or narrative, resolved through restraint rather than decoration.
Sentinel Brotherhood — CVMA Edition
A chapter-driven variation of the Sentinel, integrating insignia and shared identity into a functional object.
Designed for use within the group environment rather than separation from it.
Material & Construction
All pieces are built from solid American black walnut and finished by hand.
Natural variation in grain, tone, and engraving is inherent to the material and process. No two pieces are identical, and no attempt is made to standardize or repeat them.
Brass and slate elements are used selectively — not as ornament, but as structural or functional components within the design.
These objects are built to age through handling, not remain untouched.
Where This Work Lives
Commissions are currently held in:
private collections
chapter houses and group spaces
personal lounges and offices
Each piece exists within a context it was created for — not as decoration, but as part of the environment itself.
Final Note
Every piece begins the same way:
A place.
A group.
A moment worth fixing in form.
The next one hasn’t been made yet.

The Approach
The Approach
We build objects for personal spaces and private rituals.
Each piece begins as solid walnut and is shaped to carry meaning as well as function.
Produced in limited batches and custom commissions, every piece is built for permanence, use, and legacy.
Built for Organizations, Chapters, and Communities
Canyon Crest Woodworks creates commissioned legacy pieces for clubs, chapters, veteran groups, swim teams, riding organizations, law enforcement units, and private communities.
Each Sentinel can be developed as a commemorative centerpiece, fundraising auction piece, chapter recognition award, or membership legacy commission.
Designed to reflect identity, achievement, and shared history, these pieces are built to strengthen community and support the organizations they represent.
